Kathlyn Wilkinson recently joined Penn State's University Health Services (UHS) as the coordinator for educational services within Health Promotion and Wellness (HPW). In her position at UHS, Wilkinson will contribute to campus wellness programming and campaigns, including Healthy Penn State and Take the Lead.
Wilkinson holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master of public health degree, both from Indiana University-Bloomington. Kathlyn’s professional experience includes health education positions with both Indiana and Purdue University. “Katie’s experience promoting health in university settings will be a great asset in her work here at UHS,” shared Linda LaSalle, associate director of educational services for UHS. “We’re excited to have her join the Health Promotion staff.”
Health Promotion and Wellness provides resources and outreach to help students get healthy and stay healthy. Health promotion staff and student volunteers develop and implement programs that promote healthy lifestyle choices, and advocate for a healthy Penn State community.
