University Police issue safety reminder when using bike paths, parks

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — As the weather starts to warm up and more outdoor activity takes place, Penn State University Police are reminding everyone to obey all the posted rules of the bicycle paths and public parks near campus.

While utilizing these areas, report all suspicious persons or behaviors to police. University Police want to assure these areas are safe and enjoyable for all. The community’s partnership in keeping these areas free of criminal activity is vital to maintaining the safety of all publicly accessible parks and paths.
