UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center will offer a webinar on student loans on Jan. 26, and financial trivia on Feb. 4.

A full calendar of financial literacy events, including their Zoom links, can be found at financialliteracy.psu.edu.

In the Student Loans webinar from noon to 1 p.m. on Jan. 26, participants will learn about the differences between federal and private student loans, terminology and resources, how to be responsible borrower, how to enter student loan repayment gracefully and how to manage loan repayment.

The center will continue its ongoing trivia series on Feb. 4 from 4-5 p.m., with the next session to focus on investing. After trivia, participants are encouraged to stick around for a “Finlit Five,” where they can talk privately with Center staff about any financial concerns or questions.

Self-study modules for all webinars are available here from “MoneyCounts: A Penn State Financial Literacy Series.”
