UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — A brief from the June 15 meeting of the University Staff Advisory Council (USAC) is now available online.

Highlights of the June meeting, held at Penn State New Kensington, included two guest speakers. Jeremy Bean, director of change management and organizational excellence, provided an update on the Optimized Service Teams, the new ecosystem of shared support and services across the University. Justin Schwartz, executive vice president and provost, discussed his goals as provost and answered questions from USAC members.

USAC’s June meeting was held in conjunction with the Outreach and Engagement Committee’s community engagement meeting, which included staff council representatives from New Kensington, Greater Allegheny, Beaver, Shenango and Fayette campuses.

Penn State staff members are encouraged to read monthly meeting briefs shared by USAC to stay informed of the initiatives and activities being led by the council. Monthly meeting briefs are distributed via email to Penn State staff and available on the USAC website.
