UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Lion Quest is a program that Service and Leadership, a unit of the Office of Student Activities, runs twice a year in which students complete the Clifton StrengthsQuest tool and spend time exploring how to better utilize their natural talents and strengths. Due to the current pandemic, Service and Leadership recognizes the need for virtual Lion Quest opportunities for current University Park students.

A virtual Lion Quest will be held on April 16 and April 20. Both sessions will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and will enable students to further explore their talents and strengths through virtual activities, group discussions and guidance from professional staff.

“We recognize that this is a particularly trying time for many in our Penn State community and we want to give back however we can to help others. One way we can do that is to move our leadership development curriculum to a virtual environment,” said Allison Kinsey, assistant director of service and leadership.
The goal of both programs is to continue to offer meaningful and engaging cocurricular opportunities for students aimed at leadership development and personal growth. The sessions will continue to provide enriching programming for students in a virtual learning environment. Participants will have the opportunity to to gain a better understanding of themselves and how to make an impact on the Penn State community.
“We hope that students will take advantage of the resources offered by Student Affairs. Student Affairs will continue to provide enriching programming for students to engage in academic and cocurricular learning and we are happy to be able to do our part to offer these types of opportunities,” said Kinsey.
