The CTSI Community Engagement Team will host a Community-Engaged Research (CEnR) webinar, “Results Dissemination: The Importance of Visual Engagement for the Lay Audience,” on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 1-2 p.m. via Zoom.

Presented by Alicia Hoke, senior program manager for Penn State PRO Wellness, this session will focus on the utilization of visual tools to share study results with the lay audience.



Session topics include:

  • Overall benefits of communicating science to broad audiences
  • Examples of visually engaging approaches to the dissemination of health information and research results
  • Best practices when designing lay briefs, newsletters, and infographics
