Implementation Science Seminar Series: Engaging in Implementation Science

1:00 PM - 2:00 PM / March 28, 2024

Join us for a two-part, interactive seminar as Erika Crable provides a 1-hour seminar to describe the foundations of implementation science (e.g., terminology, conceptual models and frameworks, study design, and implementation strategies). An in-person practice-based activity will immediately follow the seminar to provide participants the opportunity to formulate practice Implementation Science questions that can be applied to health policy and social science research.

Crable is a health policy and implementation scientist from the University of California, San Diego, where she co-directs the Health Services Research and Health Policy Research Program. She is an accomplished educator who has hosted many national and international presentations and workshops on Implementation Science. Her research focuses on health policy, comorbid substance use and mental illness, and health equity for publicly insured, uninsured and underinsured populations.

Register to participate via Zoom or in person in Smeal Business Building Room 217 at University Park.

This seminar is supported by Penn State Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) and the Social Science Research Institute (SSRI).
