Penn State Clinical and Translational Science Institute developed the iSMART program to improve infrastructure, support, diversity, and efficiency for research teams conducting human subject research at the College of Medicine and across the University. iSMART goals are to:
-
develop a sustainable and dynamic infrastructure to support research efficiency;
-
provide user-friendly, useful, and meaningful training to supporting ‘on-boarded’ staff; and
-
maintain trained and efficient research teams for centralized research support to aid in project startups and/or pilot projects
