DuBOIS, Pa. — The Penn State DuBois Office of Student Engagement will welcome students and members of the public to Hiller Auditorium on Tuesday, March 26, when multi-award winning performer Wayne Hoffman will come to Penn State DuBois.
Hoffman is recognized as one of the top mentalists in the world. He currently tours the globe with his stage show, Mind Candy; his motivational keynote, The Power and Potential of The Human Mind; and presents his award-winning virtual show, Distant Deceptions. He also is the author of the best-selling motivational book, "Mind Candy."
His passion for the mysterious was sparked at a young age and led him to study the art of magic. Later, through extensive self-studies in sociology, psychology and human behavior, Hoffman was able to develop the foundation of his skills. He now travels the world performing and speaking for exclusive events, theaters, television, casinos, universities and top corporations.
His performance is a high-energy presentation that combines mind-reading and visual magic that amazes audiences everywhere, giving experiences seemingly supernatural phenomena in a fun and upbeat way.
Hoffman has been featured on America’s Got Talent, France’s Got Talent, Britain’s Got Talent, National Geographic, CNN, The Science Channel, and numerous other television and radio outlets across the globe.
The show will begin at 7 p.m. There is free admission, and this event is open to the public.
The program is presented by the Penn State DuBois Office of Student Engagement as part of the Diversity, Arts, and Lecture Series. For more information, contact Brittany Stanton, assistant director of student engagement, at blm5191@psu.edu or 814-375-4764.
