UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — This week, we recognize five Penn Staters who go above and beyond what's asked of them in their work at the University.

Do you know someone who deserves a shout-out? If you do, consider taking a minute to nominate that person by filling out a short online form.

This week, it's thank you to:

Antone Aboud, with the College of the Liberal Arts, whose nominator wrote: "Dr. Aboud has a strong enthusiasm and positive attitude to overseeing the online programs for the School of Labor and Employment Relations. This energy is infectious and motivates all he encounters. In addition to positive energy, he also has a meticulous attention to detail that ensures high quality."

April Yorke, a graduate student in Communications Sciences and Disorders, whose nominator wrote: "Thank you April Yorke for helping me understand the information in the class CSD 300. I could not have done it without your help. I am so thankful for that."

Brian Hart, with Penn State DuBois, whose nominator wrote: "Earlier this year, Brian updated some info at my request on the campus website. When the updates to the campus website went live a few weeks ago, this info got lost and the old info was displayed. When I  noticed this, Brian did not hesitate to update again and had the work done on the same day."

Kristina Burris, with the Office of Student Aid, whose nominator wrote: "Many Penn State students could not have paid their tuition if not for Kris's tireless work. She kept federal aid student aid flowing in the transition to LionPATH and seemed to be processing aid night and day, yet found the time to communicate proactively with staff on the front lines."

Jen Krempa, with Outreach and Online Education, whose nominator wrote: "Jen is such a passionate and overall great person to work with. Her dedication to every project and deadline never goes unnoticed. She brings such a great spirit to Outreach and Online Education and we are so happy to have her here!"
