UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The John A. Dutton e-Education Institute’s first “Speed Dating with Learning Technologies” event for College of Earth and Mineral Sciences instructors, held on Feb. 13, was a success.
The event offered short, focused introductions to tools appropriate for resident, hybrid and online instruction, such as Zoom, Turnitin, Lightboard, R Shiny, Slack, Snagit, Kaltura, Penn Display and Adobe Spark.
Surveyed participants found the one-on-one interactions with learning designers to be helpful and liked the option to pick and choose which presentations they engaged with.
