This week, we recognize six Penn Staters who go above and beyond what's asked of them in their work at the University.

Do you know someone who deserves a shout-out? If you do, consider taking a minute to nominate that person by filling out a short online form.

This week, it's thank you to:

Tami Hile, at Penn State Harrisburg, whose nominator wrote: "Tami has worked in Science, Engineering and Technology for three years, as administrative support assistant in the biology/science programs. She is the treasurer for the Penn State Harrisburg Commission for Women. Tami is a team player with a can-do attitude, always willing to lend a hand to get the job done. We are lucky to have Tami on our team!"

The members of staff of Mike Chura, Facilities and Operations; Jonathan Kukta, Housing and Food Services; and Dale Osenbach, with University Police, at Penn State Hazleton, whose nominator wrote that the staff, "deserve a shout-out for their tireless efforts in keeping the campus safe and well-nourished during the snowstorm that closed the campus for three days. You are appreciated!"

Katina Bartley-Posney, with the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, whose nominator wrote: "Katina is the model of efficiency and not putting off until tomorrow what you can do today. She constantly amazes us all with her knowledge of Penn State and is the first to jump in when something needs to be done. Somehow, she also manages to be pleasant at all times and has a smile for everyone!"

Garrett Roen, at Penn State DuBois, whose nominator wrote: "Garrett is the registrar at Penn State DuBois and, no matter how busy he may be, he always makes time to assist students who are in dire need of help. Thanks for being there for our students!"
