· Christian K. Anderson, who received a doctorate in higher education in 2007, was promoted to the rank of professor at the University of South Carolina effective Jan. 1.
· Elijah Armstrong, who graduated from Penn State in 2019 with a bachelor of science in education and public policy, will be speaking at the Black History Month Roundtable with Young Black Leaders with Disabilities at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 23, at the White House. · Emily Hodge, an assistant professor in the Department of Educational Leadership at Montclair State University, is lead author of a new paper, “’Common’ Instruction? Logics of Ability and Teacher Decision-Making Across Tracks in the Era of Common Standards,” that was published in American Educational Research Journal. Hodge received a doctorate in 2015 from the Educational Theory and Policy Program in the Department of Education Policy Studies at Penn State.
