"Alumni Updates" highlights career achievements by College of Education alumni.

  • Vicki Baker, professor of economics and management at Albion College, was named as an American Council on Education (ACE) Fellow for 2023-24. Baker received both a master of science degree in business administration and a doctorate in higher education from Penn State in 2007.
  • Tamarah Pfeiffer, a tribal citizen of the Navajo Nation, has been appointed as the president of Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute (SIPI). SIPI, a public tribal land-grant community college in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is operated by the Bureau of Indian Education. Pfeiffer received a doctorate in educational leadership from Penn State in 2006.
