Alumni updates: Nov. 2, 2022

  • Jennifer Thomann, who earned a master of arts in educational theory and policy from Penn State in 2019, is the new chief academic officer for Local 825 in Dayton, New Jersey. In the role, Thomann will help guide the training center into a combined apprenticeship program and degree-granting technical college.
  • Andrew Pendola, assistant professor of educational leadership at Auburn University who earned a doctorate in educational theory and policy from Penn State in 2018, recently won the University Council for Educational Administration's Jack A. Culbertson Early Career Award, presented annually to an outstanding junior professor in recognition of their significant contributions to the field of educational leadership.
