Alumni updates: Nov. 30, 2022

· Tonya Black, who holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a Master of Education in curriculum and instruction, both from Penn State, was named director of equity, inclusivity and belonging for the State College Area School District.

· Pedro Cevallos, who received a master of education from Penn State in 1999, was selected from a nationwide search to lead the nonprofit Elementary Institute of Science in San Diego, California. EIS focuses on diversity, equity and inclusion in science, technology, engineering and math.
