Karly Sarita Ford, assistant professor of education (higher education) in the Department of Education Policy Studies, and Megan Holland, assistant professor of educational leadership and policy at University at Buffalo Graduate School of Education, have an article, “Legitimating Prestige through Diversity: How Higher Education Institutions Represent Ethno-Racial Diversity across Levels of Selectivity” in The Journal of Higher Education.

Trang Pham, a doctoral candidate in educational leadership, gave a talk on Earth Day with the American Center (Hanoi) on the topic: “Personal Growth via Community Activities.” The talk was livestreamed (and recorded) on Facebook.

Priya Sharma, associate professor of education in the Department of Learning and Performance Systems, along with her co-principal investigator, Mahir Akgun, assistant teaching professor of information sciences and technology, received a seed grant from Institute for Computational and Data Sciences to support their research project, “Refining the pedagogical and learning impact of a machine-learning powered learning analytics dashboard.”
