— Research by Erica Frankenberg, professor of education (educational leadership), showing that America's schools are becoming increasingly segregated was cited in Vox and on NBCnews.com.

— Doctoral student Karen Babbs Hollett had a blog post published on the National Association for the Education of Young Children website. It was on research about anti-bias work the Center for Education and Civil Rights has been collaborating on for the past few years.

— The Review of Educational Research, a journal of the American Educational Research Association (AERA) that's edited within the Penn State College of Education, is ranked as the No. 1 education and educational research journal in the world for the second year in a row. AERA has asked editor Karen Murphy and co-editors Gwen Lloyd and Alicia Dowd to serve a second term. Doctoral student Rachel Croninger is the editorial assistant. — David Passmore, distinguished professor of education (workforce education and development), was guest editor for a special feature issue of "Advances in Developing Human Resources focused on Meta-Science in Human Resource Development: Exploring the Possibilities." He also authored two articles in that same issue: "Potential for meta-scientific inquiry to improve the usefulness of HRD research outcomes for practice" and "Meta-science: Guidelines for the practitioner."

— Kelly Rosinger, assistant professor of education, is one of six researchers on a team whose research, "Nudging at Scale: Experimental Evidence From FAFSA Completion Campaigns," was featured in the Chronicle of Higher Education. Her colleagues are from Brandeis and Brigham Young universities and the universities of Pennsylvania and Virginia.
