Movin’ On 2022 set for April 19
Movin’ On, Penn State’s annual student-run music festival, has a full in-person lineup set for April 29. The festival is held on the Intramural (IM) Fields on the University Park Campus. Gates open at 3:30 p.m. and attendees must present a valid Penn State Student ID or government-issued ID to enter. As part of the special celebration, Penn State Class of 2020 graduates and their guests are invited to attend Movin' On 2022.
The 2022 festival will include headliner Jack Harlow, Aminé, Fitz and the Tantrums and additional acts, including the Student Programming Association’s sponsored act and Movin’ On’s 2022 "Battle of the Bands" winner. Learn more here.
Car shopping webinar on May 3
The Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center will offer a webinar on car shopping from noon-1 p.m. May 3. This final webinar for the spring 2022 semester will explore the costs of owning and operating a vehicle, such as how to decide on the right purchase, shopping for a car loan, preparing for the buying process, types of auto insurance, and information about warranties and extended warranties. Virtual conference to feature College of Education professor
The Association for the Study of Play (TASP) will hold a virtual conference from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 21 titled "Play in a Liminal Space: Considering Who We Are and Who We Are Becoming.” Keynote panel speakers include James Johnson, professor of education (early childhood education).
