Transportation Fair to be held Aug. 31
The Transportation Fair, hosted by Penn State Transportation Services, will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, on the HUB lawn. Transportation Services staff and partner organizations will share information on campus parking, biking, transit, bus and shuttle services, Penn State Fleet vehicle rentals, and more. Roundtable on challenging transphobia in higher education
The Roundtable on Challenging Transphobia in the Classroom will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, in a hybrid format. The roundtable will gather Penn State trans scholars and educators, including Anna Piotti (German), Sophie Kandler (Lifelong Learning and Adult Education), Gabriel Pulido (Education Policy Studies) and Brooklyn Leonhardt (Philosophy), to build collective practical wisdom to confront and resist transphobia in the university classroom. Financial webinar series to resume
The Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center will continue its normal webinar series this month, with "Paying for College” at noon on Sept. 6 and "Building a Better Budget” at noon on Sept. 20. Find more details here.
