Nominations sought for 2019-20 Penn State Laureate

The University is seeking nominees for the role of 2019-20 Penn State Laureate, with nomination materials due by Monday, Jan. 21, 2019. The endowed annual position of Penn State Laureate was established in 2008 to bring greater visibility to the arts and humanities (a key priority in Penn State’s Strategic Plan) and the honoree’s work, and to enrich the University. Help restock the Professional Attire Closet at Penn State

Consider donating professional clothing that you no longer wear to the Professional Attire Closet. Many Penn State students need professional clothing for career fairs, interviews and networking events in spring 2019. More than 640 students used this service this fall. All sizes and styles are appreciated, but smaller sizes are needed the most. Clothing donation boxes are located at the Hintz Family Alumni Center, the Bank of America Career Services Center, and the Business Building. For more information, email careerworkshops@psu.edu or call 814-865-4630.

If you have an announcement you would like to share with the College of Education, send it via email to edrelations@psu.edu. Submissions must include a contact name and telephone number so that Connections can verify the information.
