Cosner to deliver 2023 Nicely Lecture

Shelby Cosner, professor and director of the Center for Urban Education Leadership at the University of Illinois at Chicago, will deliver the 2023 Nicely Lecture in the College of Education at Penn State at 11 a.m. Feb. 17 in 236 Chambers Building. The talk will be offered both in person and via Zoom, and will examine coaching-focused educational leadership learning designs: implications for practice and policy. Lunch will be provided in 228 Chambers Building. Advance registration is due Feb. 15. Register for the Nicely Lecture here.

Hernandez to speak on intersections of media and food systems

Join Isaias Hernandez, an environmental educator and creator of QueerBrownVegan media platform, to explore the intersections of media and food systems. The lecture will highlight strategies to transform thinking from problem-identification to solutions-based action and journalism. The lecture will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 22, in 102 Animal, Veterinary and Biomedical Science Building. Learn more about Hernandez's presentation here.
