Google suite training

Penn State faculty who want to use G Suite for Education tools in the classroom but aren’t sure where to start can now sign up here to receive bite-sized ‘getting started’ tutorial videos via email each week. Google, in partnership with Penn State IT Learning and Development, offers a seven-week training program that delivers tutorials for Google apps directly to faculty members' inbox at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays. Each lesson takes less than 15 minutes to complete and provides basic training videos to get started with G Suite for Education. For more information, visit Penn State News.

Penn State Community Survey to launch Feb. 3

The first Penn State Community Survey, which will begin on Feb. 3, will seek input from students, faculty and staff members at every campus location related to community, diversity and inclusion. The confidential survey, to be emailed from the Higher Education Data Sharing Consortium directly to all Penn State students, faculty and staff, including those at World Campus, will be open from Monday, Feb. 3, to Friday, Feb. 28, and will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. On Feb. 3, community members will receive an invitation email followed by a couple of reminder emails throughout the month. Every 100th survey respondent will win an Amazon or Starbucks gift card. For more information, visit Penn State News.
