  • Soo-yong Byun, professor of education, demography, and Asian Studies, is principal investigator (PI) of a $418,398 research grant from the Spencer Foundation/Michigan State University, “Creating transformative possibility in schools and communities: Asian American Studies in divergent political contexts.”
  • Efraín Marimón, associate teaching professor of education and director of the Restorative Justice Initiative and Social Justice Fellowship, is PI of a $324,875 outreach grant from American Institutes for Research in support of the project, “Reimagining Reentry Simulations for Cultural Change: A Toolkit.”
