Bill Brendel earned his doctorate in adult learning and leadership at Columbia University. His research investigates how the ancient wisdom tradition of mindfulness practice may be utilized as an approach to developing resilient leaders, cohesive teams and healthy organizational cultures. Utilizing a bio-psycho-social research paradigm, his studies incorporate bio-sensor technology and real-time data collection techniques to investigate how employees' bodies, minds and relationships act interdependently, influencing their ability to navigate organizational complexity, manage stress and collaborate compassionately.
