Kostohryz is an assistant professor of education (counselor education) and also serves as the coordinator of counseling services for CEDAR Clinic. The CEDAR Clinic aims to provide strength-based counseling services to promote mental health and wellness for the Penn State community. In her role as coordinator, Kostohryz creates partnerships with university units, community agencies and local schools to provide a variety of outreach counseling services for students. These services are delivered by both doctoral and master’s-level students in the Counselor Education program, under the supervision of department faculty. Kostohryz said she also loves to teach and one of her favorite classes is the summer elective course, CNED 531: Grief and Loss Counseling.
