Shiner serves as a staff assistant for the Lifelong Learning and Adult Education Program in the Department of Learning and Performance Systems. She assists faculty and students with many aspects of the academic process, including graduate applications, assistantships and course enrollment, as well as assisting with DISSA (Directorate of International Student and Scholar Advising), SARI (Scholarship and Research Integrity) and GRADS (Graduate Admissions Decision System), which includes residential and Penn State World Campus students. Shiner also helps with faculty and student travel arrangements, including travel reimbursements.
