UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Center for Education and Civil Rights (CECR) is co-hosting a series of events leading up to the 65th anniversary of the Brown vs. Board of Education decision in May 2019. Each event will focus on how the promise of true integration can become a reality in today’s schools. The schedule follows:
- "Race and Revolution: Still Separate, Still Unequal," now through April 6, Woskob Family Gallery and HUB-Robeson Gallery. This art exhibit, curated by Larry Ossei-Mensah and Katie Fuller, explores ongoing racial and economic disparity in the U.S. public school system. This project marks the first collaboration between the two galleries. More information on the exhibition can be found at the project website.
