Buoyed by the success of last year’s effort, and in support of the University’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, the College of Education’s Giving Tuesday campaign for 2021 once again will raise financial support for the Office of Education and Social Equity (OESE).
As its mission states, OESE promotes and values diversity and multiculturalism; infuses diversity across the curriculum and student experiences; facilitates access to post-secondary opportunities; supports the advancement of outstanding underrepresented educators; and works toward the greater diversification of the education profession.
Above all, the OESE provides underrepresented and marginalized students a sense of community and belonging, a safe space where they can be themselves.
