The spring edition of the College of Education Alumni Magazine traditionally celebrates success and achievement realized by our students, faculty, staff and alumni, and there are some great stories to share in this issue. Read about Rachel Shriver, a secondary English education student, who recently was named a Fulbright scholar. Several other students are profiled in this issue as well, including roommates Taylor Young and Carly Siegle, who are taking advantage of every opportunity possible during their undergraduate years; doctoral candidate Nicole Wang, who developed a web app to aid online learners; several part-time students who also are full-time employees in the College of Education; and Divine Lipscomb, who shares his story about what it's like to be a justice-impacted student.
Learn about a new course developed by faculty member Wendi Coduti, designed to teach employment strategies for people with disabilities to both students studying rehabilitation and human services, and labor and employment relations. Celebrate a milestone anniversary with the Center for the Study of Higher Education, and explore the work being done by faculty member Efrain Marimon and others through the Restorative Justice Initiative.
This issue also features successful College of Education alumni who work in many different roles at Penn State, and some of our alumni who have been named Distinguished Alumni.
The magazine is in the mail, and also available online via issuu.com, with individual stories posted to the Penn State News website.
