2026 Online Data Summit to be held Feb. 16-17

Registration is now open

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Members of the Penn State community are invited to attend the 2026 Online Data Summit, titled “Charting the Course: Data As Our Compass To Insight."

The conference will be divided into two half-day sessions held virtually on the vFairs online platform from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Monday, Feb. 16, and Tuesday, Feb. 17.

This year’s summit will feature five distinct tracks in addition to our second “Dashboard Showcase.” Tracks include:

  • Exploration and Discovery: Emerging Frontiers in Analytics and AI
  • Crossroads and Connections: Building Collaborative Data Pathways
  • Plotting the Course: Strategic Planning Through Insight
  • Mapping the Landscape: Understanding Our Data Terrain

Also included will be presentations, panels, and a Dashboard Showcase.

Executive Vice President and Provost Fotis Sotiropoulos will provide opening remarks on the first day, and the second day will kick off with a keynote panel discussion on "Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Data" featuring thought leaders from across the University. All sessions will be recorded and available to view after the event.

This virtual event is free to attend, but registration is requested to help with planning and ensure a ticket.
