UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State offers telephonic wellness coaching that is free for Highmark Blue Shield members.
Members can talk with a personal wellness coach, registered dietitian or exercise physiologist about personal health and wellness goals or concerns. Topics for discussion can include:
- Reviewing biometric screening or lab test results, and discussing how they relate to health risks;
- Establishing personalized goals for improving health through lifestyle behavior change;
- Receiving advice about weight management, tobacco cessation, nutrition, stress management or physical activity;
- Connecting you with support materials and links to online tools, community programs and gym discounts.
