A brief from the August meeting of the University Staff Advisory Council (USAC) is now available online.

The new USAC term kicked off in August with the USAC Annual meeting, held on Aug. 8. The retreat began with a workshop on power and privilege presented by the University Libraries Rankism Solutions Community of Practice (RSCOP) group. The council was then joined by two guests, Michael Wade Smith, senior vice president and chief of staff; and Jennifer Wilkes, vice president for Human Resources and chief human resources officer.

August marks the beginning of the 2023-24 year for USAC, with 12 new members beginning their term. USAC members serve a three-year term on the staff council.

Penn State staff members are encouraged to read monthly meeting briefs shared by USAC to stay informed of the initiatives and activities being led by the council. Monthly meeting briefs are distributed via email to Penn State staff and available on the USAC website
