      Workshop offered for non-tenure-line faculty to learn about promotion process

      Feb. 16 virtual session is part of the Promotion and Tenure Workshop Series

      UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Join the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs in a workshop session titled, "Advancement and Promotion for Non-Tenure-Line Faculty," to be held Feb. 16, from 10 to 11 a.m. via Penn State’s Zoom platform.

      As part of the Promotion and Tenure Workshop Series, attendees in this session will learn about the promotion process for non-tenure-line faculty and how to take advantage of the resources and opportunities for growth and advancement. The workshop will cover several topics, including the three-level promotion process, policy AC 21, the variability of unit-based evaluation processes, assessment committee structure, and the impact of COVID-19 on research and teaching.
