Barleyjuice to bring Celtic rock to Penn State Fayette St. Patrick’s Day week

Celtic rock band Barleyjuice will perform at 6:30 p.m. March 12, in the Maggie Hardy Margerko Auditorium in the Community Center at Penn State Fayette, the Eberly Campus. The show is free of charge and open to the public.

Chad Long, assistant director of student affairs at Penn State Fayette, said “This concert is a great opportunity for the campus and community to experience a truly unique take on rock music. The Celtic sound Barleyjuice is known for is a great way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.”

Formed in 1998, Barleyjuice is comprised of Kyf Brewer, Keith Swanson, Shelley Weiss, Eric Worthington and Gregor Schroeder, Barleyjuice is currently one of the most beloved Celtic rock bands in the United States. Their music has been featured in television episodes of “The Office” and “King of the Hill” as well as feature films such as “Driven.” With five studio albums and a double-CD collection to date, Barleyjuice’s blend of rock and Celtic music creates a memorable sound that appeals to all.
