UNIONTOWN, Pa. – Morgan O’Brien, president and CEO of Peoples Natural Gas, will launch the spring 2013 series CEO Conversations at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus, on Feb. 20. This free event is open to the public and will be held in the Penn State Fayette campus’ Community Center Bird’s Nest Café from noon to 1 p.m.
O’Brien is a graduate of Robert Morris University with a bachelor of science degree in business administration and a master of science degree in taxation. In February 2010, O’Brien was named president and CEO of Peoples Natural Gas Company LLC, a natural gas company that provides service to individual homes and businesses in 16 western Pennsylvania counties.
O’Brien is active in civic organizations throughout the region, including the Board of Trustees of his alma mater and of the University of Pittsburgh. He also serves on many boards including the Pennsylvania Energy Association, the United Way of Allegheny County, the Allegheny Conference on Community Development, The Pittsburgh Opera and the western Pennsylvania chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
CEO Conversations is designed to give students the opportunity to hear from and talk with key individuals in the local, regional and national business communities about business, entrepreneurship and leadership. CEO Conversations has been running annually since 2008 and is sponsored by Joseph A. Hardy III.
