UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Supplier Diversity Trade Fair will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, at the Bryce Jordan Center, Gate B. This event connects Penn Staters with businesses owned by women, minorities, veterans, and members of the LGBT community, as well as small-business owners.
Attendees can engage in direct conversations with businesses offering goods and services across these categories:
- Administrative Supplies and Business Operations Support
- Facilities and Fleet
- Food and Beverage
- IT Hardware
- IT Software
- Professional Services
- Scientific and Research
- Travel and Hospitality
“The Supplier Diversity Trade Fair demonstrates Penn State’s ongoing commitment to creating procurement opportunities throughout our supply chain,” says Chief Procurement Officer Duane Elmore. "Beyond showcasing diverse suppliers, we expanded our support services at the Central Procurement booth to address specific questions about procurement strategies and processing.”
Free transportation to and from the event runs via these University Park campus transit options:
- Blue Loop: Stop at Curtin Road near Bryce Jordan Center Gate B.
- Campus Shuttle via College Avenue: Stop at Curtin Road by the Intramural Building.
- Campus Shuttle via Beaver Avenue: Stop at Curtin Road adjacent to the Shields Building.
Concession stands will offer food for purchase. The Supplier Diversity Trade Fair welcomes all Penn State faculty, staff, students and members of the public.
