UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Global Education Abroad will host a fall 2024 study abroad information session — "Fall in Love with the World: Study Abroad Next Fall" — from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 29 in 134 HUB at the University Park campus.  All University Park students interested in studying abroad are encouraged to attend.

The session will begin with a brief presentation delivered by Education Abroad staff. Following the presentation, a Q&A and tabling session will be facilitated by Education Abroad. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions and will learn more about choosing a program, submitting an education abroad application, and funding an experience abroad.

Two (2) students who attend the information session on Nov. 29 will be selected to win a $1,000 scholarship toward any Penn State-approved fall education abroad program.

Free snacks will be provided to those who attend.

Students planning to attend should complete the Fall 2024 Study Abroad Info Session Form. Although submitting this form is not required for attendance, it is strongly encouraged.

Fall in Love With the World Campaign

The "Fall in Love With the World: Study Abroad Next Fall" information session is part of a larger Education Abroad campaign, which aims to encourage Penn State students to study abroad in the fall 2024 semester. The campaign provides reasons students should consider pursuing one of the 120+ Penn State-approved fall semester programs in over 35 countries across the globe. Reasons include the increased number of scholarship and funding opportunities, the beautiful weather and international cultural events that occur during the fall, and the opportunity to set oneself apart from peers by completing a semester-long program.

For more information and to hear from students studying abroad this fall semester, please visit the "Fall in Love With the World" website.
