Graduate School invites nominations for 2023 alumni recognition awards

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Graduate School at Penn State is now accepting nominations for its 2023 alumni recognition awards — the Early Career Award, Humanitarian Award, and Lifetime Achievement Award.

The deadline for nominations is Sept. 30, 2022. Award recipients will be honored during the Graduate School Alumni Society Recognition Dinner on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center.

  • The Early Career Award recognizes Graduate School alumni who have demonstrated exceptional success in their chosen field. All Graduate School alumni (master’s or doctoral degrees) who received their graduate degree within the 10 years preceding the deadline for this year’s nominations are eligible. Submit a nomination for the Early Career Award.
     
  • The Humanitarian Award recognizes Graduate School alumni who have made a positive societal impact on the welfare of humankind. All Graduate School alumni (master’s or doctoral degrees) who received their graduate degree 10 years or more prior to the deadline for this year’s nominations are eligible. Submit a nomination for the Humanitarian Award.
     
  • The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes Graduate School alumni who have achieved exceptional success in their profession and have demonstrated loyalty to the University and Alumni Association. All alumni of the Graduate School at Penn State who hold a master’s or doctoral degree are eligible for consideration. Submit a nomination for the Lifetime Achievement Award.
