UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Military veterans, reservists and active-duty service members are now able to apply to the Graduate School at any Penn State campus that offers graduate programs, including the World Campus, with a discounted application fee. The University has implemented this initiative to open doors to advanced higher education for members of the military.

The newly discounted rate of $40 is effective for spring 2023 admissions. This represents more than a 35% decrease from the standard $65 application fee.

The application fee waiver is part of Penn State’s longstanding tradition of serving members of the Armed Forces and their family members. Penn State has consistently been recognized as a military-friendly school for the many education benefits, academic programs and support resources available to active-duty service members, reservists, veterans and ROTC students.
