Student LionCage pitch competition

At the Student LionCage pitch competition on March 30, 3-5:30 p.m., students will have an opportunity to be guided through the experience of starting a company, from identifying a core problem in the market, addressing that problem, and showing how solutions need to be viable, sustainable business ideas. Applicants do not need to be starting a real company to participate and will get a great deal of value from the initiative.

Each applicant will receive a straw man pitch and instructions on how to gather the data and the key points that will be used in scoring the competition.

Applications are currently open and will close on March 21. All participants are required to participate in the on-campus coaching night on March 23 from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Coaches and mentors will advise on preparing a presentation.
