'Test drive' course: Decision and Risk Analysis in Engineering

Are you on the fence about pursuing a graduate program? Come to Penn State Great Valley for the opportunity to "test drive" a class to get a feel for what it's like to be a student. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the session to allow time to find the classroom and get situated.
This course examines the analysis of decisions under uncertainty within the context of engineering and technology. It focuses on understanding and improving the decision-making process of individuals and groups in technical organizations. Emphasis is placed on evaluation methods; identification, modeling, and problem resolution; consequences/outcomes of the action taken; and risk analysis and quantification.
