Unisys chief financial officer to deliver Great Valley’s commencement address

MALVERN, Pa. — Inder Singh, senior vice president and chief financial officer at Unisys Corporation, will deliver the address at Penn State Great Valley’s 27th commencement ceremony on Friday, May 5.

Based in Blue Bell with an additional location in Malvern, Unisys is a global information technology company that provides industry-focused solutions with leading-edge security to clients across a wide variety of fields. Singh joined the company in March 2016 and is responsible for all financial functions, including controllership, treasury, taxes, internal audits, systems, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate strategy.

Throughout his career, Singh has held financial leadership roles at top Fortune 50 companies, including Cisco, Comcast, AT&T, and American Express. Additionally, he brings key Wall Street experience in equity capital markets, as well as framing investment strategies for large intuitional investors. He holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in engineering from the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science at Columbia University. He also holds an MBA in finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

More than 465 Penn State Great Valley students will be awarded master’s degrees in business administration, engineering, finance, information science, and leadership development.

In addition to Singh’s talk, the ceremony will include an address from Terri Whiteford, a master of leadership development student. Outstanding achievement awards will be presented to students in each program for accomplishments in academic performance, research, student leadership, and community service and citizenship. Other festivities include a Berkey Creamery ice cream social courtesy of the Great Valley Alumni Society, an induction ceremony to the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society for top-performing management students, and a post-ceremony reception for graduates and their guests.
