About the chancellor
A member of the Penn State Great Valley faculty since 1999, Neill became chancellor in 2023. He previously served as director of engineering programs and academic leader of the engineering division, helping expand the campus' graduate academic portfolio. Before joining Penn State, Neill worked in software and systems engineering with the University of Wales Swansea, Oxford University, the Rover Car Company and British Aerospace. He holds bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees from the University of Wales Swansea in the United Kingdom.
