Hall Foundation establishes Trustee Scholarship at Harrisburg

Since 1990, Gerald N. Hall Sr. and the Hall Foundation have supplied scholarships each year to deserving students at Penn State Harrisburg. Hall, a former member of the campus Board of Advisers and the chairman of the foundation founded by his father, has increased the foundation's commitment to the campus through the creation of a Trustee Scholarship. The Gerald N. Hall Jr. Trustee Scholarship is named for Hall's son, a 1996 Penn State Harrisburg graduate. The Hall Foundation was founded in 1952 by Carlisle native John N. Hall, a business, civic and cultural leader. The University-wide Trustee Scholarship Program aims to increase Penn State's privately supported endowed spending on academic scholarships by 40 percent.
