MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — Penn State Harrisburg recognized outstanding employee contributions at the 2016 Faculty and Staff Recognition Program on March 31. Nominated by the college community and selected by various award committees, several faculty and staff members received awards.
Award recipients included:
- Shirley E. Clark (Middletown), associate professor of environmental engineering, School of Science, Engineering, and Technology — Excellence in Research and Scholarly Activity Award
- Jane M. Wilburne (Hershey), associate professor of mathematics education, School of Behavioral Sciences and Education — Excellence in Teaching Award
- Linda Null (Dillsburg), associate professor of computer science, School of Science, Engineering, and Technology — Excellence in Advising Award
- Jane Kochanov (Harrisburg), instructor in information systems and director of undergraduate studies, School of Business Administration — Faculty Service Award
- Alison Smolinksi (Elizabethtown), administrative support assistant, School of Science, Engineering, and Technology — Staff Service Award
- Michael J. Chorney (Palmyra), professor of microbiology, School of Science, Engineering, and Technology — Faculty Diversity Award
- Anna Marshall (Harrisburg), international student adviser, International Student Support Services — Staff Diversity Award
- Sharon Blouch (Middletown), administrative support coordinator; Chancellor's Office — Kathryn Towns Women’s History Month Award
- Shirley E. Clark (Middletown), associate professor of environmental engineering, School of Science, Engineering, and Technology — Kathryn Towns Women’s History Month Award
