Penn State Harrisburg to present 'Schweek' scheduling week

Weeklong event will assist students with scheduling classes for spring 2025

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — The Office of the Registrar and the Lambert Undergraduate Advising Center at Penn State Harrisburg will present “Schweek” scheduling week to assist students in scheduling their courses for spring 2025.

Schweek includes the following events:

Treat yourself to some classes -- Students can enjoy a treat for completing the Pre-Registration Activity Guide, Major Preferences Activity Guide, or scheduling their classes.

  • 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday Nov. 11 and Wednesday Nov. 13, Student Enrichment Center (SEC) living room.

Drop-in Advising -- Get answers from professional advisers to scheduling, academic planning, and major exploration questions.

  • 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, SEC 204 and via Zoom

Gen Ed 101 -- Students can get answers to questions about general education classes and requirements. Counts toward First Year Seminar.

  • 4-5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13 via Zoom

Lion Guide Office Hours -- Lion Guide Peer Advisers can show students how to use Suggested Academic Plans, What-If Reports and Schedule Builder to create a great schedule.

  • Noon to 5 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, SEC 204C (Advising Center)
