MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — The Penn State Harrisburg School of Humanities will present its spring musical, “Urinetown,” on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, April 3 to 5, at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, April 6, at 2 and 7:30 p.m. The performances will take place in the Mukund S. Kulkarni Theatre in the Student Enrichment Center building at Penn State Harrisburg.
“Urinetown” occurs during a period of major water shortage, which means that private toilets have been outlawed and the public must pay “for the privilege to pee.” Music and lyrics are by Mark Hollman and book and lyrics are by Greg Kotis.
The musical is directed by Emily MacLeod, assistant teaching professor of English, theater and humanities, and the music director is Adam Gustafson, associate teaching professor of music.
