Reception set to celebrate Harrisburg field hockey’s inaugural home game

Interested guests can register online to attend a pre-game reception on Sept. 4

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — To celebrate Penn State Harrisburg field hockey’s inaugural season of NCAA competition, a pregame reception and ceremony will be held prior to the team’s first-ever home game on Wednesday, Sept. 4.

That evening, Penn State Harrisburg will host Fairleigh Dickinson University Florham at the multipurpose turf field at 6 p.m.

A pregame reception will be held in room 210 of the Capital Union Building at 4:30 p.m. During the event, guests will have the chance to hear from and interact with head coach Amanda Janney Misselhorn and Penn State Harrisburg field hockey players. Those wishing to attend the reception can register online now. 

A ceremony will also take place at midfield before the game begins. Free giveaways for fans in attendance will also take place throughout the night.
