HAZLETON, Pa. — Penn State Hazleton will welcome accomplished alumna Tiffany Veet as the keynote speaker for its spring commencement ceremony, scheduled for Friday, May 8, at 7 p.m.
Veet, head of drug substance continuous improvement autonomous production unit (APU) support at Sanofi, provides strategic leadership supporting influenza vaccine manufacturing. Her work has contributed to critical advancements in biologics production and global vaccine programs.
A graduate of Penn State Hazleton, Veet earned a bachelor of science degree in engineering and a master of science degree in bioengineering from Wilkes University. She also holds a Lean Six Sigma certification from Villanova University.
Since joining Sanofi in 2014 as a manufacturing technician, Veet has built a career marked by continuous growth and meaningful impact. She has led high-impact improvements across biologics manufacturing and supported vaccine programs targeting meningitis, influenza, yellow fever and COVID-19.
In addition to her professional achievements, Veet remains deeply connected to her alma mater. She is a life member of the Penn State Alumni Association, serves on the Alumni Council and Executive Board, and is the immediate past president of the Penn State Hazleton Alumni Society. Her dedication to Penn State Hazleton also includes previous service as an adjunct instructor of engineering, where she mentored and inspired students.
In March 2026, Veet was honored with the Penn State Alumni Achievement Award, an honor that recognizes alumni 35 years of age and younger for their extraordinary professional accomplishments and commitment to service. She was nominated for the award by Penn State Hazleton.
